There are two mics; MIC1 is on the left and MIC2 is on the right
To broadcast or record sound from the MICS, push the RED on button and adjust the slider for the MIC channel (s) you want to use.
The ideal distance between your mouth and the MIC is 3†to 6â€. If you get too close, the sound can get muddy.
Be careful with feedback: it can result if the headphone is at a very loud volume and is located near a mic, or if the portable radio in the studio is on and is located near a MIC, or if the speaker on the board is on. Sound coming from these sources “feeds back†through the MIC – forming a loop and creating a nasty howling/whistling noise.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU GET FEEDBACK: Move the slider for the MIC channels down. Turn the portable radio off or move the headphone away from the MIC, then slowly move the MIC slider back up.
